How can different Proton V42 2005 version and 2009 version ?

and i think the newest ones come with the mr42. zak may be able to tell for sure. i was looking at the shedive model for my wife, here is another question does the proton metal octo come with superflex hose?

All current production of the Proton Metal Octo does come with the superflex hose. Note this hose has been incorporated as an inline production change with several of our regulators / octos over the previous 2 years. It is very reasonable to expect some retailers may have the older version. If this is of concern, I would be sure to ask before you purchase.

thanks for the answers zak, i will be sure to order a new production proton so i get the mr42 and superflex hoses
