I am an eye Dr. so maybe I can Help. Lasik works well about 90% of the time, but can have serious complications. I have been diving with contacts for 19 years and have never lost one. This inclubes looking for my mask and donning my gear while 15' down. Just squint. Daily disposibles are an exellent choice, here is a link for some glassess that also work well. http://www.actiongear.com/cgi-bin/t...x=glasses&backto=%2Fagcatalog%2Fresults%2Etam
Just cut and paste the whole url in the address box. If the link does not work, go to www.actiongear.com and search for combat glasses mag-1 frames

I dive with custom prescription lenses in my mask. Our LDS had pop-in lenses that were relatively inexpensive - the prescriptions for those went up to 20/600. (not strong enough for me though). The pop-ins would probably work for you though, and then as your eyes change, your mask can as well.

I haven't seen "pop in" (glue in) lenses that correct for astigmatism nor have I seen bifocal versions for folks with presbyopia or artificial cristaline lenses (post cataract surgery).

Whether they have them or not, you're probably much, much better off with prescription lenses (which seem to run from $100 to $200 depending on lots of factors)
