NACD Sidemount Cave 2010 with Paul Heinerth

216 cave dives including Intro, Apprentice, and training cave dives. 176 cave dives since full cave. 20 +/- different cave systems, all in Florida.
Currently diving sidemount with a dual bladder Nomad. My wife is a cave diver as well, and we do two three week caving trips a year, in February and October. We always stay at Dive Outpost except for a night or two in Marianna almost every trip. We are fantasizing about moving to Suwannee County! :)

Just really started looking in this section.

NACD & NSSCDS in 2004 with Larry Green
NSSCDS Intro in 2002 with Mark Pergram

I have no clue how many cave dives I have. I quit logging dives in 2005. I built 100 dives in 2 years at Intro/Apprentice level, and had about 40 full when I quit logging. I just started again in 2011, although most of these dives have been OW, aside from some salt water caves/caverns I have found here in Cuba. Very short penetration distances though.

Configuration is DIR/Hogarthian when I am in backmount. Lots of Halcyon gear. Now I am doing sidemount with UTD gear minus the manifold.

114 in 26 caves, probably wont grow near as fast for the next couple years since I'm moving to durham for residency and the trip will be a lot longer to get to NFL.

Oh, I just noticed this thread.

I was OW certified in June 2006, but didn't really start diving till 2008 (Have logged around 800 dives since 2008)

February 2010: GUE Fundies
June 2010: First entered the caverns
December 2010: GUE Cave 1
March 2012: GUE Cave 2

Logged around 35 cavern dives before taking C1
156 C1 before taking C2
10 full cave dives since completing C2 (all in Mexico)
Look forward to more full cave next week ;-)!

My equipment is 100% DIR and I'm certified to dive stages

I don't drive DPV's in cave - perhaps some day, but I'm not in a hurry :).

Newly certified cave diver, completed my training last week. I know now what all the fuss is about and I must say I am totally hooked. I can't wait to do my next cave dives. I will post a short overview of my experiences later this week.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the world of wet rocks!
