I'm 55 and just getting started.....

I've been diving for 17 years and now that the kids are out of the house it's time to get serious.

:D

You are as old as you think........They can have my dive geear when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

Okay, I've been watching this one long enough. I'm in. I'm a 1952 model. I've been wanting to dive since Sea Hunt was a new show. Maybe before that. I had to wait until I was 42 before I could get started. I bought equipment and wore it out, bought better stuff and improved my skills. I've worn out and outlived several dive friends. I've dived in water on the west coast, I especially liked Monterey Bay, all over the Caribbean and subtropical Atlantic.
I've got a good start.
