25. But I've looked into it before - my parents didn't really support it in high school because they knew how expensive it would be, so I didn't get certified then. In university I almost signed up for the course but after looking into it and running the figures I realized I had to worry more about things like rent and eating - so I didn't get certified then.

I'm now at a position where I can financially afford to dive (and have a car so I can drag my gear around) which is why I FINALLY got around to doing it! But I was still the youngest out on Wednesday night dives this summer.
 
First dives last year, at 47, following the "resort course" in Cancun. OW cert this May, also in Cancun. Wish I'd started years ago.
 
Let's see. I got certified in 1969 and I'm 62+ years old now so I guess that makes out to be 22 years old at the time. WOW, that was a little over 40 years ago. My, My, how things have changed.

I was 22 at OW certification and 23 during AOW. :D
