This has been bothering me for a few days because I can not figure this out.

I had purchased a new hp hose and brass/glass spg and set it up as I have previously done before. However, when I pressurize my system the hose begins to leak. It leaks at the end of the hose and where the spindle meets. See the attached picture; the screwdriver is pointing to where the leak is.

However, when I spin the spg clockwise the leak stops and everything is fine.

I do not understand if it is the hose, spindle, the connection, or the assembly is causing the leak.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

There are different types of air spool .... different lengths and waisted or not.
If your 0 rings are good you may need a longer spool without the waist.

Thanks for the tip.

I took it apart and found the tiniest crack in one of the o-rings. Replaced them and now no more issues. Strange on how something so small can create such a large issue.
