I have an Ikelite DS51. I noticed a little moisture inside the battery compartment. So I rinsed it with white alcohol. A small amount. One of the springs came out when I tried to clean it. Is it totally toast or can it be fixed.. HELP:confused:

I actually flooded one of my DS-125s. As with most floods it was user error, didn't screw down the sync cord tight when in a hurry to make a boat. I didn't notice until the next morning when I found the connection full of white and green gunk. Well, I was just about sick, I was on Lembongan Island to shoot Molas with no way of replacing it so I did what you did, washed it out, let it dry and amazingly it still worked and does to this day, 2 years later...:D

Ike makes tough stuff....
