I love it and can't wait until a scheduled trip to the Florida Keys in May. I just figure that once I convince myself that there aren't monsters in the ocean...I'll have a blast.

Hope to get to know some of you..

Welcome to diving. There are monsters in the ocean..most are human.

Synerain,

You'll have a great time here at Scuba Board. Lots of friendly people, good advice, and always something to be learned. Enjoy, and visit often.

laugh... yeah, there are quite a few, but they usually don't mess with
divers. you'll be a lot safer in the water than driving down to Florida.

so.... drive safely!!!

I went for the same diversion from ME stuff at WSU and I’m still doing/loving both. Look over in the DIY section for a chance to combine the two.

As for monsters, these suckers would shred you as soon as look at you. http://www.calacademy.org/research/izg/SFBay2K/Caprellid.htm Damn good thing they’re mostly less than an inch tall.

Welcome and good luck,

Dave
