Apologize if this is maybe the wrong forum, but this question came up in the context of a potential business plan with a friend, so ultimately the question is business related.
How big / deep would an indoor dive pool / tank need to be to qualify for the final four checkout dives of an OW certification? We regularly see these done in a 30' deep part of a quarry, so... I've read language from PADI like "larger than a swimming pool" but with the opening of several facilities around the world (Blue Abyss, Y40, Nemo 33, Todi, Dive4Life, Dubai, etc), it seems some of these "pools" far exceed the experience of a quarry.
Anyone hear or know of anything official from certifying agencies that would indicate what size indoor facility would allow for the complete certification process?
