Studying in Australia, go to college in Ithaca, NY
Hi,

I go to college in upstate New York so I'm wondering where the best diving is. I hear there's some good stuff to see on Lake Ontario as well as the St Lawrence river. I sense dry-suit diving is in my near future as well... If anyone could recommend a dive shop in Ithaca or even Rochester, let me know. I'll be getting back in January, and I'll have to wait out the winter until the ice thaws =[.

A few of us don't care for the local shops in Rochester. I travel to Depew NY for all my Scuba needs (it's only 45 minutes away). check out Discover Diving

Near Rochester there are only a couple good dives. Most of my diving is in Lake Erie. and some in the 1000 Islands.
