Anybody up for a ScubaBoard meet and greet at Wet Wendy's? We arrive on Friday the 20th so that date would be out what with getting checked into hotel and what not. Any day after that say Saturday the 21st - Friday the 27th will work for me. So here is a shout out to anyone who is interested! Did one last April and it was fun. I think we had a dozen or more show up and I still have the group photo on my bulletin board.

Looks like there will be lot of scubaboarders in Coz' over the Memorial Day holiday! I think that calls for a little (or big) Memorial Day Happy Hour!

Here are the details:

Where: Wet Wendy's (just north of the Plaza on Ave 5) Welcome to Wet Wendy's Margarita House & Restaurant in Cozumel, Mexico!
Home of some really great Margaritas.
When: 7:00ish - whenever

If you plan to attend, please RSVP via this discussion (or via PM to me). I'd like to get a head count by May 21st so that I can let Wet Wendy how many to expect and make sure they have enough "supplies" and "help".

If you will be in Cozumel during that time, stop by and join us for some great socializing.

Well, it doesn't look there is much interest since I have received no response. I understand that people have other things going on and that's OK. As a result, I'm going to cancel this get together. Hope everyone has a great trip and some amazing dives!

Hi radhal let's set a day and time in a week or so. Maybe more will show an interest as we get closer to departure. We can also invite anyone we meet on our dive boats or divers we meet where we are staying. I think last year about a third of those that attended our SB meet and greet at WW,s were new to scuba board.

Gaffer, I will definitely be game to join you and RadHal at WW's for a meet and greet. Who could resist Wet Wendys home brewed tequila LOL - actually usually just settle for a diet coke when diving and plus I wanted to introduce RadHal to WW's waiter Nkosana and see if he can figure out from where he hails. I am game for any night and we don't have plans for any of the nights although I would like to try and get at least one night dive in. Choose the night and we will be there.
