Welcome. The industry is full of people with 1000 dives, but if you talk to them it's really the same 50 dives repeated 20 times. They've learn a lot by rote and have little ability to apply it laterally. Self awareness is a great trait to have, good luck.
 
Welcome aboard! If you've been lurking for a while, then you're already aware, but don't step in the BS and you'll be fine! I can tell ya, from my own personal experience, that being a part of ScubaBoard has been the biggest benefit me as a diver. There is a wealth of information here from a number of experienced members. some are "salty" some are not, but their input is equally valid nonetheless.

So I say unto you, from the Philippines, welcome aboard matie!! Glad to have you around.
