Mr Achim uses a finer line good quality same as on his reels, the famous orange line
I use builders line for tying, finer still orange too in sympathy
It is a real chore to cut it off when everything is tied tightly up

Those Ambo shears "seas snips" I've cut some quite reasonably heavier than leader braided stainless wire
and with the heavier shears I've cut through umpteen thicknesses of cable and even a stainless teaspoon handle

Yes the secret under salt water testing stainless teaspoon handle testing that only slightly damaged the blades
