Hi there, I need some help.....please.
I am arriving into Koh Samui in March and need to get to Koh Tao, preferably on the same day. I have searched for contact info on the Lomprayah Catamaran service as they have a boat that leaves at 12.30pm, which suits my flight. Their website address seems to have an error on it, so I was wondering if anyone has an e-mail address for them? Also does anyone know that if landing in Koh Samui airport at 11.50am, would I make the boat at 12.30pm?
Thanks in advance for anyones help.

Well, it's cutting it close.

If your flight arrives on time and you clear the airport quickly and your transfer has a very fast driver, you might make the Lomprayah.

If possible, go for an earlier arrival time. If not, be ready to spend a night in Samui or see if there is another way to get to Koh Tao (maybe a speedboat).

There are quite a few boats operating between Koh Tao Koh Samui however I don't know all the schedule. If you plan on staying on Koh Tao, the best thing to do is probably to contact your accomodation as they should have all the schedule of various boats.
40 minutes is not a lot of time even if the plan arrive on time. If you are lucky, you might get out of the airport in 20 odd minutes, I probably would try to take a later boat instead.

Kilt girl.. relax, take it easy, enjoy the ride, the journey is just as important as the destination. You are going to love Koh Tao, have you been there before? I lived there for nearly five years on and off. Great place.

Definite other and more frequent ways to get between the two based on my experience several years ago. The suggestion to contact your lodging for a boat schedule makes sense. Enjoy... Koh Tao was my first diving experience in Thailand and as such it was enjoyable.

Thanks to everyone that replied.

Think I am going to hang out on Koh Samui for a wee while before I head to Koh Tao. I am in no hurry to really get anywhere......and I will need to unwind from work, so to the beach!

Thanks again
