Next summer I will be visiting Tawas City, MI and was looking for a few nearby wrecks to dive and a LDS to rent tanks, and some gear for my buddy. Any help would be appreciated, and tips on exposure protection...

Thank you, it is probably more appropriate for that location...

Plan on a dry suit or 7MM farmer john. Bottom temps run 50 or lower depending on depth. There is some GREAT diving in the preserve near Alpena, but that is further north than Tawas
