Anyone Dive there? I was thinking it would be a good late season dive,
if the water is warmer than average?
Anything there interesting?
Any issues about the altitude?
Any input apreaciated.

Thank You
Dave

Haven't been there since first part of September, but am planning on going there the 19th.
Could even be convinced to dive the 18th and 19th if anyone is interested...

I'm told that the water a few weeks ago was in the high 70's, but I have no way to verify that. In September it was something like 88 at 50' with maybe 6-8'vis...

I've only been going to storm over the last 11 months (first Dive was in January). Maybe 6 trips. January and February the water was in the low 50 deg range with a vis of around 3-5'. Around March or April the water started warming up some and the vis went to maybe 6'. June there was one dive that had to be close to 15' and I believe 80'ish degrees.

This weekend I'm hoping for 5' with 77 deg water, but I'm pretty easy to please.

4 platforms, and a few sunken "treasures"... all in all a great site especially for the cost (free).

Platforms are linked via rope... making it fairly easy to maneuver around.

Dive flag a necessity.

Wanting to go night diving? Go below 30' on most days and you are there... :)

See you Saturday?

Dave

Don't think I can get out of work this week.
Please do post back about it, tho.
I am trying to get there soon.
Wait, I think I'm coming down with something!
I feel very dry.
Gotta find a doctor to recomended external hydration?!
(Sick Day?)!

Dove the Storm Nov 11.

Air temp = 41. With wind chill probably less than 32. Snow on the ground wasnt melting.
Surface temp down to 20'= 71.
Temp 50' and below= 55

Vis @ 20'=5'
Vis @ 30'=0'
Vis @ 50'=1-2'

Chanel catfish x infinity @ 20', take some crackers and make some friends.

I had new gear to try out (to bad it wasn't a drysuit). Had a blast, dont think my buddies did though.
