Ummm...YEAH! Then again I live in California. Wouldn't this be better suited in the NorCal forum? You can also use the search for lots of past reports.
 
Dive it when I can, as I live in Nevada.

You can expect cold water (50) at the surface, and even colder at depth. Use a 7mm full with a hood, or dive dry. Yes, it will suck when jocking up, but you will be thankfull 20 mins into your dive.
Viz runs from 50 (early when snow run off is heavy) to 80 in some areas. There are some good dives up there. Check out SierraDiveCenter.com, as they have a map of areas to dive.
Watch the boat traffic. Best time is after Labor day. Kids are back in school, visitors are gone, water is at it's warmest, and days are still long.
