We dove Mansfield Park at the cove on Friday afternoon. First dive was to the overhangs and grottos off the nearside point. Water temp was 59-57 and vis was 8-12 feet down to 83 feet, our max depth. Nice yellow cat under one of the overhangs and a large school of sunfish at 55 feet on our return. Best vis was 30-50 feet of depth.
Dive two was off the farside point of the cove. Vis was 8-10 over there down to a depth of 64 feet. Again we saw another large school of sunfish at 55 feet.

Dove the public side of Windy Point today. Water was cool. But I'm diving dry now so I didn't notice. Andy was diving a 7 mill and did two dives, So I guess it was doable. Both of us had hoods. Vis was something like 6-10 feet. Found the scoreboard about 90'. Max depth on each dive was around 100'. Still new to the Dry Suilt so i kept running out of air faster than Andy. Don't have my weight straight yet. Each dive from top to top was about 27 minutes.

Also diving my new Galileo Sol so some of the info is kind of confusing still.

I'll be at Barstows tomorrow. Ran into Kvalve, Joanna, and a few others there today.

Nice seeing you out at the lake! I bet you were glad to have that drysuit yesterday, huh? The water is still a little chilly! Sorry, we didn't get to dive together, but the class had all my attention until late and we didn't get back from refilling our tanks until after 7:00. Next time!!!

Dove Barstow's today. Saw Zinc, Matt, John, Joanna, Ryan,....... Dove the dry suit with my new poly-propelene (sp?). Nice and toasty warm and dry. I also dove BP/W for a little added extra. The difference was 15 lbs less lead vs fleece & recreational BCD! Vis was a decent 6 - 10 ish down to about 70'. Vis was really bad down deep. Maxed out at 108. Nice to have a fun dive for a change and the weather was great.

Ditto on all the trip report information from this weekend. We had very similar conditions at Windy Point. Jack is being real generous on the water temps...it was COLD! Water temps over at WP Private ranged from the upper 50's to the lower 60's. Might have been that the new drysuit Jack was sporting just made everything seem so much warmer though. :D

Congrats to Zinc and Joanna on completing their Adv. Nitrox and Deco classes this weekend!

was at mansfield yesterday morning with a class and the vis was amazing 15-20 ft. and the temp was up to like 63. was a nice dive.

How deep did you go?

How deep did you go?

Sounds to me like some shallow diving.

Great, the shaker plant should be a good dive this weekend if you were really seeing 15-20 ft at Mansfield. We will post a report afterwards. Sorry you are missing out Zinc - John...
