We may be trying again for Feb 16ish. Any interest?

WEll if that happened, Dawn would never let you dive with me again. :D

Went out yesterday afternoon w/ JDC and we were met w/ picture pefect conditions. We saw no lemons though. Word is this year is different then previous years as they are not congregating in the numbers and the places they have been seen before. Saw a bunch of reefies though. Oh well, I will try again next weekend. Good diving to all

The problem is when you are a weekend diver, it's a crap shoot. You have to count on conditions being perfect on the day you are diving. Unfortunately most of us have jobs and can't go diving every day. I saw over 40 lemons "near" the wrecks a few weeks ago. But I swam south of the wrecks against a pretty damn good current. The lemons were not visible from the wrecks. I had a hunch and went for it. As I got away from the wrecks I could see the gathering in the distance. I was able to get fairly close before they moved away. Then they moved to the wrecks and I drifted through them. The last time I tried to do the dive with JDC, there was a fishing boat anchored on the spot. We had to move to another site.
