Looking to plan a trip to Phuket in Feb of 2008. Want to do a live aboard to the Similan/Andaman. Any suggestions as to what works. I have been to Thailand and dove a few of the day trips. Bringing my wife this time and would like to something a bit up scale (as far as the boat goes). Anyinfo would be nice. Thanks, See you soon. Sean

Hello,

For upmarket, i would go for Philkade. It is probably the best liveaboard running out of Phuket at the moment. Luxury cabins, great saloon and very professional diving staff.

Hope this info helps you decide.

Thanks

I had a great time on the M/V Mermaid 2. Did the 6 days/7 nights Itinerary to the Similans, Richelieu Rock, Hin Daeng/Hin Muang Pinnacles and Southern Islands.

As Anthony0234 stated the Colona VI is a great boat. Anthony and I have chartered the whole boat from 23 Nov to 2 Dec 2007. We have a few slots left. If anyone is interested please PM me.
