I am considering going to Egypt and would like to do some diving when there.
1. Would you suggest staging from the east coast of Egypt (Hurghada or south) or from the Gulf of Aqaba (Sharm el-Sheikh and north)?
2. I have seen 7 day liveaboard trips advertised? Do operators do 3 to 4 day trips?
3. Any problems with rental equipment? I will probably only have my mask.
4. In a February to April window, what is the best time to go? Considering visibility, sea life, overcrowding, temperature, and other things I dont know because I have not been there.
