Looking to dive tomorrow afternoon @ LBTS

I'm new to the Ft. Lauderdale area and was wondering if there was any dive club/thread on scubaboard or anywhere else where we could meet fellow dive buddies. I just bought my gear since I moved down and I am looking to go on a beach dive tomorrow sometime after 2pm. However, I only know of a few friends down here that dive and they are busy tomorrow, so if anyone is interested in going let me know. I didn't really know if this is common practice or not but I figured it couldn't hurt to see if I could find some dive buddies via the forums since I'm new down here. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to Fort Lauderdale! There are a lot of active divers and clubs in the area. Here are two you should check out:

Gold Coast dives all the time. South Florida Divers socialize all the time and dive sometimes, too.

My brother and I are members of GCS... but we dive about 1-2x a week outside of the group as well. PM if you ever need another dive buddy or 2.
