What's diving in Loreto like? Is it similar to La Paz and Cabo?

We are looking to do a trip to Loreto or La Paz next summer so I will look forward to your trip reports (please).

I did a trip to La Paz in '99 and was blown away by the green moray eels (my favorite) everywhere!!! Hadn't even thought of Loreto. Nice to hear some positive reports.
Loreto was great fun! I was mildly disappointed that we didn't get the viz that friends had reported from earlier in the year, but we still got to see plenty of fascinating things. No current, no surge, and we never had to go below the thermocline to keep ourselves amused.
