Does anyone know what the number one cause of accidents in the Blue Hole in Dahab is? Any breakdown in statistics to share? Thanks in advance.

There was a TV program on this. It seems (from their research) to be that many people who die here are Instructors and DMs... young guys who think they're a great on air, have the skills and attempt to do the 50m swim through, without realising how long it is, how narked they are, and how much quicker they are using their air. There seemed to be quite a few Russian names on the memorial wall on the way to the Bells entry. Don't have statistics so it could all be heresay. And TV is... well.... not THAT reliable!
