A while back, I recall a thread regarding a live aboard trip in the Maldives where divers were given bad air fills and there was at least one fatality. There followed a lot of discussion about the Maldives government regulating diving and in particular air fills. I do not know what ever came of that. ...
Today, on the news, I heard that members of the Maldives government used scuba gear for an underwater meeting to highlight the threat of global warming. Great plug for scuba and global warming.
