Beatiful pics :) awesome thread

Liking that image as well Soggy. Has a very nice feel to it.

Another image of our coast. Not all white sand beaches.

Went out to Quincy last night and grabbed the sunset facing Boston. There aren't a lot of road-accessible places to do that around here, being an east coast city. This was with the ND110 for 2'20". Unfortunately, I didn't have any clouds to work with. The cloud gods are not with me my last couple outings...it's either complete cover or not a cloud in the sky.

I took a bunch more which I may or may not be uploading later. :)

last sunday me and 3 friends set off for a scouting trip for an advocacy we are part of. this time to remote locations within the province of rizal which are only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. people here only have power for 2 hours everyday. some schoolchildren report to school barefoot; walking more than 2 hours just to attend school. some are of dumagat-remontado lineage.

sharing a photo documentation of these places.

as rural as it can get. none of the usual visual mess of the city.

no roads. we had to travel over very rough terrain and several river crossings to get to the location.

full set here

we will go back there just before school starts to bring stuff for the kids. and hopefully with an ngo for long term livelihood assistance.

Really compelling work, Jon.

Another from my shoot at Nickerson Beach in MA. This one is of a tower...thing. No idea what it is or was, but it's out on a little peninsula that is inaccessible at high tide. I made sure to check my tide chart before heading out. Didn't want to turn around and find my way back covered with water. :)
