Has anyone tried the metalsub flex hoses?
Metalsub Regulator Hose Flex buy and offers on Scubastore

They seems similar to miflex but alot cheaper.
Is it the same hose?
According to miflex webpage they doesnt manufacture the hose.
With the full support of one of the major manufacturers of flexible hoses, we are able to develop and bring to the market ranges of specialist hoses for the Diving Industry, as well as other air & water based industries.

The rubber hoses that you normally see on SCUBA, and have been used for decades, are flexible hoses, so any major manufacturer could be involved. The confusion comes when the term flexible hoses started being used for hoses that are more flexible, i.e. Miflex, than the standard hose.

Goodyear Rubber makes the majority of rubber hoses sold in the US regardless of what company name is on the logo. I believe Dunlop is the other major supplier but I think they are UK based.
I'm fortunate to live close to a Goodyear Rubber distributor and I can get any length hose I want with any type of fitting on it I want. They put it together right there while I watch if the fittings are in stock :)
