i have an afternoon to shoredive in miami before the cruise, dont need deep, need a shop close to shore with something to see. help?

There is virtually no shore diving in Dade County.
Broward County 25 miles north is loaded with options.
May I suggest that you post this query, or have it moved, to the Florida Conch Divers forum.
You will get good advice there.

Contact Tarpoon Dive Center. (305) 532-1445. They are located in the Miami Beach Marina, about a 5-10 drive from the cruise ship terminal.

Ditto to everyone above, Broward is your only option for beach diving.
RJ Diving Ventures is pretty much the only dive boat in Miami and he's been in business for decades. He's right there at Miami Beach Marina, not far from the cruise port. That's the boat Tarpoon, mentioned above, charters.
