Here's a picture of a Weedy Sea Dragon (relatives of seahorses)

Now I took that with a 35mm camera. Looking at it when I scanned it I noticed that nice big fish in the top left corner. I don't recall seeing it on the dive.

It looks pretty big and I guess it would probably made a better subject to take a photo of with a 35mm lense than the sea dragon (which didn't turn out good anyway)

I just find it funny; me trying to take a picture of a sea dragon while this nice big fish is in the background.

Has something like this ever happened to you?

I did a photo dive on Monday night, in very poor viz - only a couple of metres, so I decided to spend the time stalking these little sand goby's which are plentiful in this bay that I often dive.

After spending the best part of 15 minutes getting close enough for a shot, I finally got the goby in a perfect position. I pressed the shutter and the goby shot off when the flash fired. I checked the picture on the LCD, and a clump of weed had rolled into the frame just as the shutter had gone, leaving a head and a tail either side of the weed....I was gutted. I gave up after that :(
