Monterey buddies for beginner this week?

After many delays and distractions, I am finally ready to go diving out here!

I'm looking for someone who'd be up for showing me around a bit this week. I can make it down to Monterey anytime over the next week (up to and maybe including Jan 4, happy to go more than once). I'm figuring a couple nice easy dives at Breakwater or similar would be a good place to start.

Right now conditions are looking pretty bad through Friday, if Sunday is good I may be able to dive with you then.
