I have to say that I see many more attacks directed toward DIR than coming from them, some old GI3 rants aside. There seems to be a certain segment of the community that is threatened in some sense by DIR/Hog/Tech divers in general.

In my opinion, this probably from a lack of knowledge about what DIR/GUE is REALLY about.

It's about dressing in Black, being a clone, wearing jet fins, and being the best divers.........is'nt it......:1poke:

Darn, I just did what I find frustrating in other posters...not posting enough of what I was thinking to get the point across. Much better in person (I hope) with that <grin>
BTW, I do have one ("Spare Air")...never dove with it though.
