Next year I will be on a 14d dive trip in South Sudan. My flight shedule is Amsterdam/Dubai/Port Sudan. I am considering to take a break of 4 days at Dubai and dive in Musandam. Is this a good and realistic plan? If yes, which diveoperator? Near good divesites? There are several (extra divers, nomad etc.) Any other suggestions?

Very realistic.
You can either do a speedboat trip into Musandam for a day, or a dhow trip. The dhows leave Dibba on a Thursday evening, 6 dives, and get back to Dibba on Saturday afternoon.
Various operators: Nomad, Al Marsa, Sheesa Beach, Seven Seas etc
