Hey,

I dive with a "naked" SPG. What are some good knots to use to secure it to a S/S clip. Any sugguestions? Something that has some length to it. Anybody know of any?

I have a clip that I have attached to my gauges that I attach to the straps for my BC. It keeps things out of the way, and also I know where they are at all times

wrap cave line around the metal at the end of the hose, base of the SPG. I use 3 wraps, then a square knot. I put a drop of superglue into the middle of the knot, then burn the ends of the extra line and stick it back into the knot. Same knot procedure for all my cave line ties [bolt snaps on hoses, spg, backup lights, etc...]

That is, in fact, the ticket. It's what I use for all my (sans super glue) connections.

That said, let's see if we can avoid the "that's a bad knot" or "why not use wire ties" or any of the other miriad of discussions on this subject as they are covered in other threads.:14:

Meng,
So do you want to tell a Gue instructor he didn't quite get it right? :)
