I'm going to be staying in Monterey for a function and would like to try to get some dives in. I would be up to diving anywhere and anytime since it has been a few months since I jumped in the water.

I think there are a few people planning to meet at either Lovers Point, McAbee, or Breakwater Saturday morning. I'm not sure of the timing at this point. I may be able to get down there Saturday too, and if so I'd be happy to buddy with you.

Hi,

I would like to join if its possible? I am tad bit new to this board. Have been certified in Monterey and have done 13 dives around Monterey and Point Lobos.

Thanks!
Petar

I never dove Otter Cove dhammer where is it at exactly? Would like to check out new sites and would be very interested in joining you two. Mutexaholic if you want maybe we can meet up and dive at Otter Cove with dhammer or maybe hit breakwater and get a couple of dives in. PM me on what you would like to do.

Well, I missed this post :( I was at Lovers 3 (I think thats the name) with Ironworker377. First dive was decent vis and second not so much.

Well, maybe next time.
Petar

We did Otter Cove yesterday for the first time, though it wound up being a little after 6 by the time we descended. Viz was lousy, and that eelgrass is bad enough that we probably won't go back there, at least before winter if then. The best part was, one of the young harbor seals kept us company through the entire 70 minute dive and even escorted us all the way to stand-up depth on our way out. We got some great pictures of him, and he almost seemed sad to see us go. That was fun.
