Concur with Sally Lightfoot. Does say Pacific species, but I've seen these guys in the Atlantic and Caribe, and they're the same as the SL pix...

It's probably pretty easy for a crab to hitch a ride on a boat.

Wait until it molts, pat it in flower, dip it in egg wash, coat it in corn meal (w/ a little Emeral's), deep fry it, put it on a hogie with tarter sauce, lettuce and tomato...
