Hi and welcome! Good to see you here. Wishing you the best in your OW course.

Welcome to ScubaBoard. It's a wonderful place to dive on land.

tell your instructor you really want to focus on buoyancy and trim - everything you do going forward will be much easier when you have a handle on those. Took me over a year before I saw what good diving was supposed look like

Welcome from Nova Scotia. You've got a 13 year head start on me.

Welcome to all new members as well.
Im just starting my diving course at 62 as well looking forward to getting started. I took a introductory dive course and I was instantly hooked. Can’t wait to start studying and getting into the pool and start learning. Very exciting I’m in Winnipeg,Mb

Welcome to both of you! I also was 62 when I got certified. Wish I had done it 50 years earlier, but better late than never, and working hard to make up for lost time. Enjoy the journey. It only gets better over time.

If anyone gets to the Midwest, hit me up.
