I just fell into an opportunity to acquire a set of pros with the bungie heel straps. This did not sit well with wife, as I had just dumped my Mares Tres for Atomic Splits and now these. The price was right and I have been reading the Force Fin cheering section posts on SB. I am anxious to try them out, particularly compared with the Atomics. Is there anything I need to know, or should I just dive in?

first, welcome to the family! take a look at the ForceFin website and read over the instructional_index

basically they will be fairly easy to adapt to. the trick is not to judge them too early, as the "feel" like they don't work. The best thing to do, is start using them and not use any other fins for 5-10 dives, by the end of that you will have figured them out.

Buy your wife a set too!
My wife has Foil Force and wants to get Tan Deltas.
You are most welcome here and we hope you have many happy dives with your pros

dk2943,
Glad to hear you are trying out the PROS. At first the biggest difference you are going to be dealing with is the comfort and lack of resistance you feel when moving the fins through the kick cycle. You will be getting a lot out of the snap at the end of the power stroke compared to other fins on the market. As meesier42 wrote just be sure to give it more than one or two dives and everything will fall into place. Not only will you adapt, but your diving style will adapt to the freedom and control of the PRO Force Fins. Thanks for the post, the interest in Force Fin and we look forward to hearing more about your Force Fin experience!
