Hi all! We are Dave and Michele on the west coast of FL north of Tampa. Just started diving, no dives other than course dives. I was looking for dive clubs nearby and see Florida Springs in Williston, any further south that are more Gulf of Mexico based?

Hey there! I’m part of the Florida Springs Dive Club, but there are also several dive clubs active in the Tampa area that may be closer to you. A lot of the ocean diving in your area tends to be just okay, so folks tend to head inland to the springs or on over to the Atlantic coast (Jupiter, West Palm, etc).
