I just got my new sport diver rag with their top resorts listed. On the back cover is a new apeks reg that has some type of computer/ sensor that has a display that reads "ok" if your reg is ready to go. We do not sell apeks but if anyone out there does any info on this would be appreciated. I try to keep up on the latest developments and if someone asks I'd like to be able to give em an answer as to why or why not this is a good thing. From first appearances it seem to be another failure point, what happens if it does not read ok(Does it stop working?), and how fragile is this unit?It is supposed to be monitoring usage and time as well as air pressure. If you go over the recommended time or number of uses will they use this to void the warranty? I'd have a real problem with this.
