Hi all. This is a great board...thanks for having it.

I am in Richmond, VA and have been certified for about a year. I have only logged 8 dives or so, though, before I lost my dive buddy. I am dying to get into the sport, so am trying to make some contacts at the local dive shops. I think I need some more experience with some seasoned divers before doing any trips out into the big ocean.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and thanks for the board.

Do you normally dive rawlings??

Actually, I was living in NoVA when I got certified, so I have only been to Millbrook in Haymarket.

Hope to get to Rawlings this season, as I hear it is a nice place for beginners.

Howdy San!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

I've dived off of Morehead City NC a couple of trips, but those really required more training and experience. Why not take a week off - in Key Largo! Great place for greehorns to start, gain experiences, maybe do your AOW & Nitrox cards. That's where I did my early diving. Now, I go back for the deep wrecks - including a couple most opertors won't even talk about.
