Avnet has single-unit prices for the LED itself at $19.. so curious what the price is going to be for the whole unit.

If 3 hours burn time is real, at the right price this seems like a pretty sweet light. Heck, just pick up 2 and keep small backups tucked well away.

Here's the manufacturer's site for the LED - SST-50-W

The price is what we are all waiting to see

I see these on deal extreme for like 79 bucks shipped and some people were complaining about how its not 1200 lumen and others are complaining about it not being consistent. Its also all over ebay.

I think its hard to get 1200 Lumens out of a 800 Lumen LED

SST-50 is rated at 1200 lumens at 6 amps.

The $79 one is the SSC-P7 based one!
