Have a great time in STX, be sure to drive over to Fredrickstead and dive the pier, (check with the shops about ship dockings)also The Swirling Reef Of Death(some school kids named it, it is actually a shallow and very beautiful reef). Check into the dive passport program. It allows a few dives with each shop, or many with one you really like. Above water, Sauvants is a nice romantic resturaunt(reservations may be necessary). Paradise cafe is just up the street from SCUBA, probably the best dive shop on STX, and has a great lunch menu. Snorkeling out near Udall point is good but the current can be strong so be careful. Buck Island is a great day trip and snorkel. You could just rent a car and drive around STX, it is a beautiful island and there is no shortage of scenic overlooks.

My thanks to everyone for your input. We had a great time see my review posted today.
