I recently acquired an older model Oceanic Hylite. It takes three C cells, twist on/off, clear one piece head. The light is in pretty good shape and it works but the reflector is in pretty rough shape. The reflector has about 5% of its finish left on it. Is there a source for these? Also, does anyone know off hand the specs on the bulb? Model number, wattage, source to buy from? The one that came with it works, I just want to get some spares for it. I'll try and post some pictures of it if that would help. For a quick reference though, it is exactly the same as the one pictured in the WKPP website equipment images section. Specifically, the picture that shows the contents of one of the drysuit pockets.

You got an interesting little bit of dive history there - the Hylite was the backup light of choice with serious cavers until Oceanic discontinued it, leaving everyone hunting for old stock until Barry Miller came up with the delrin Scout, which begat scads of imitators.

As to a reflector and bulb, you'll have to check with an Oceanic dealer and see if Oceanic has any left. If you can find any numbers on the bulb, you may be able to find one from www.bulbdirect.com - their customer service is very good at matching up bulbs.
