Oceanic Vortex V-16 Split Fins sizes

Dumb question for the Oceanic Reps. The sizing on your Oceanic Vortex V-16 Split Fins . Is the difference in sizes just for the foot pocket or does the fin surface area increase with the foot pocket? Your sizing is 9-11 regular and 11-12 X-large. I am an 11 and have a powerful kick and would enjoy the xtra surface area. Which is it? Justr a bigger foot pocket or a larger fin in general?

2 blades are used across the size range - the 9-11 and 11-12 are the same.
