I took my new Oceanic VT Pro to the pool yesterday to get it set up and enjoyed every minute of it. However I have one question. I looked through the directions on how to turn it off so I don't waste the batteries and there was nothing. I'm new to the whole dive computer thing and just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. I'll assume that it will turn itself off after the fly countdown is complete. Am I right? Any input is appreciated.

Yes, it will turn itself off when out of water for a while. It will not turn itself off underwater-which is good!!

After a dive it will not turn off for 24 hrs (Time to fly countdown.

If you turn it on and not dive, it will turn off after 4 hrs.
