Has anyone used the OMS Al plate, rigged with continuous webbing and with the 2" crotch strap ?
how is this as compared to Halcyon and DR plate ?

also, how are their spools
SPG ?

The plate works well. It's a bit deeper than other plates, so it works well for those of us with "pointy" or bony spines.
The SPG with 100psi increments (I think it's 2") is nice.

by "deeper" - i assume u mean the center portion groove of the plate where the wing nuts are located ?

I use a FredT backplate, so can't comment on the BP, I use an OMS SPG. I like it.

My buddy has an OMS plate that he likes well enough. The only complaint he had about it is that it came with a one inch crotch strap slot, as in not wide enough for two inch webbing. He had to take the plate to a friend in a shop and have him widen it. I don't know if they are offereing the new plates with a two inch slot or not. You probably want to check to make sure.

I have a couple of their SPGs, the two inch ones in 100 psi increments. I like them very much and the price is really good too through LP.

I didn't even think of that. I bolt mine through the plate with a 1/4-20 bolt, acorn nut and lockwasher.

The one inch slot for the crotch strap is large enough to allow you to fold standard two inch webbing in thirds and push it through. Then bolt like normal. No need to to widen the slot.
