Just a quick update:

We are mere days away from our classes and we can't wait. We have had plenty of time to study the manual and DVD as well as ask questions here on the boards (thanks to all by the way). We even got to try some of our gear out by going snorkeling last weekend. We feel very well prepared and are looking forward to this weekends classes.

Thanks again for sharing your wisdom with us, your insights helped greatly.

Well, we did it! We just got back from our final classroom and pool session.

Here the short version:

We did just fine.

The slightly longer version:

Straight A's across the board for both of us.

The class work was easy. If anything we over prepared. The instructer did a great job of reviewing the material and explaining exactly what we needed to know . The pool dives were fun. None of the skills are as difficult as you think they will be.

Thanks everyone, for all the ecouragment and advice.

Now we just have to wait two more weeks to do our open water dives. :D
