Hi,

I am interested in diving the little reef that is just south of Stickney at Point of Rocks, I have never been there and could use some guidance on where to park. Thanks. Also tide information.

Beach Access #12 is the only public(I think) place to park. The access is just after the light from Stickney Point to the left. It's a very small parking area, however. Then It's just a little walk to the left down the beach til you reach the "sea wall" as they call it where the private houses are. Hope that helps.

Not sure on tide info though. I have been there twice to snorkel and once the water was crystal clear and the second time it was low visibility. Both times around 2-4pm in the summer.

Isn't that in the newspaper?

Maybe he was asking about peoples vis compared to tide time. Like just before or just after, when did you have the best luck there and what the tide was at that time. Is the tide pulling crap out or sucking crap in? Maybe a simple "I have no idea because i have never been there and am stuck in the crappy northeast" would have sufficed.

You guys realize this is the Florida section right? :cool2:
