I'll repeat here something I said to you privately, Pete ... because I think it's important for those of your staff who have been involved in this topic to hear it.

I truly do appreciate their efforts. I don't always understand their motivation (I don't have to). I don't always agree with what they did (I also don't have to). I will always let you know when the mods do something that bothers me (because that's who I am). But I always appreciate that they are volunteering their time, putting thought and a bit of themselves into what they are doing, and that they are doing it for what they genuinely believe are the right reasons.

I do understand it's not an easy job. But without them, this place would be chaos, and I probably wouldn't spend so much time here.

So to John and Carolyn in particular, and the others on staff who've been involved behind the scenes ... thank you.
