Hey Lee, this reminded me of a place on the Wando that I found some big fossil sand dollars but they literally fall apart. I need to go back there and see if I can manage to salvage one big fossil though.

Check out these scallop shells. We had to clean them out prior to taking the shells home though.

Lee: a few scallops i have found. i know several spots where there are scallops, as i am not finding many megs, i may start collecting scallops, they are pretty neat.
